I am researching "HOLT'S" in Virginia. Have found them in James City Co., (first), Surry Co, and York. Looking for John W HOLT'S parentage? He was born May 1769, was raised by his grandparents, mother died ten days after he was born. Which grandparents raised him, and who (after all these yrs) is his parents. Any suggestions out there?
