William was born about 1861 and his occupation was a realtor. He married Margaret Deborah Shutz(not positive about last name because it's not clear on document I have). She was born in Hampton, VA about 1867. They were the parents of 3 children - the only child I know about is my grandmother, Margaret Elizabeth Lawson who was born 29 June 1900 in Hampton, Elizabeth City, VA. I believe my grandmother had a brother named William Elisha Lawson also. Margaret Elizabeth Lawson married Ellyson Survetus Robinson, Jr.(born 26 Apr 1898 in Newport News, Warwick County, VA.
