Francis Morgan in 1661. He married before 1670. Miss [Anne?] Acton. [Ashton] His son Nathaniel took allegiance in Henry County Va. 1779." One of Nathaniel's sons was Rev. Robert Elkin, from whom I'm a descendant. I have more information on that line, if you're interested.

    3. Hi all, I just saw this address on another list & thought I'd pass it along. If you go to http://passwordcentral.rootsweb.com/ you can find out exactly which mailing lists you are subscribed to. Go down near the bottom & look for this... Mailing Lists: What list(s) am I on? (for subscribers) What list(s) do I admin? This is good for folks like me who subscribe to a lot of them. I also have folks constantly trying to subscribe to lists they are already subscribed to. So if you're not sure that you are really subscribed to a certain list, this will allow you to check it out. You can also find lost passwords to your Rootsweb Free Pages, etc. Hope this helps someone, Jeannie Listowner PS. A quick note on digest & regular list formats. If you are subscribed to a list that contains -D in the address, that means you are subscribed in digest mode. Personally, I think Digest is the ONLY way to go, one neat email per day at the most! I can quickly scan thru the message titles to see if there is anything interesting for me to read there and if not, one click and it all goes to the trash can. If the address contains -L, that means you are subscribed in regular mode & every email that is sent to the list comes to you as an individual email. This would be good for folks who couldn't wait up to 24 hours to see what is new on the list, but not good for those of us who get entirely too much email already. To switch from one format to the other, you must unsubscribe from one list & subscribe to the other. Represented York County in the House of Burgesses 1658. 1668 purchased 1,200 acres in York County from John Chew. 1678 died and 1679 estate recorded in Westmoreland County. I have located the grave of Rachael, his first wife in what is now the town of Dandy in Yorktown. May open the grave to see who else is in it. Any help would be greatly appreciated

They were the parents of 3 children - the only child I know about is my grandmother, Margaret Elizabeth Lawson who was born 29 June 1900 in Hampton, Elizabeth City, VA.
