Rufus Wayne Potts I parents are Berva Elva Hay(e)s b. 4-12-31 d.2-15-82 and Rufus Clyde Potts b. 4-22-16 d. 4-2-96. Berva's parents are Alonzie Hay(e)s b. 4-27-1898 d. 7-17-82 and Bammy Stella Turner b.2-6-09 d. 10-28-88. Rufus Clyde Potts parents are Thomas Wayne Potts b. 7-12-1885 d. 1-29-66 and Minnie Barnett Jane Bishop b. 5-4-1894 d. 4-19-87. Alonzie Hay(e)s parents are Robert Hay(e)s and Elizabeth McCoy dates unknown. Robert's father was also Robert Hay(e)s. Elizabeth McCoy's parents are Moses McCoy and Lannie Wells. Bammy Stella Turner's parents are Jackson Turener and Sarah Rasnick dates unknown. Jackson Turener's parents were Hugh Turner and Emeline ?. Sarah Rasnick's parents are Bill Rasnick and Elizabeth Mullen. Parents of Rufus Bernard Potts are James Tanner (also called LaTanner) Potts and Louise M. Thornton dates unknown. Supposedly the Potts line connects to Erasmus Ferdinand (Ford) Potts founder of Potts Camp, MS. My (Suzanne) parents are Joe James Tucker b. 5-3-36 d. 8-6-88 and Donna Jean Esbrook b 12-21-49. Joe's parents are Marvin Wade (nicknamed Boyd) Tucker b. 2-26-05 d. 9-6-51 and Maggie Beulah Johnson b. 11-17-05 d. 11-22-80. Donna Jean Esbrook parents are Ellen Elizabeth Anderson b. 11-8-25 and William Kirkpatrick Jr. b.4-18-23 d. 1985. Ellen's parents are John Samuel Anderson b. 1-21-1884 d. 3-7-58 and Mary Elizabeth Amass b. 4-23-1884 d. 11-8-63. John's father was supposedly named Samuel. and Mary's mother's name was supposedly Elizabeth D. Marvin Wade Tucker's parents are Sloane West Tucker b. 11-9-1872 d. 3-7-51 and Alice Green 1-20-1878 d. ? Sloane's parents are Marvin Wiat Tucker b. 2-25-1832 d. 7-9-1889 and Sarah A. Mann b. 2-3-1835 d. 12-12-1915. Marvin Wait Tuckers parents are Marvin Wait Tucker b. 1797 in Ct d. 1875 and Nancy Wright born ? in SC died before 1847 in Eastern TN. Sarah A. Mann's parents are John Mann b. 4-26-1806 d. 10-21-1863 and Lucy McGregor dates unknown. Maggie Johnson's parents are John Henry Johnson b. 1869 d. 1939 and Lucy Glover dates unknown. John Henry Johnson's parents are Lloyd Johnson b. 1810 d. 1911 and Ann Smith. If anyone out there would like more about a particular surname I have more information but this is my direct line and I have most of the siblings lineage also except on the eldest of the groups such as Marvin Wait Tucker and James Tanner Potts and Lloyd Johnson.
