Gibson Family As Phyllis said, there are two Edwards Cem on Sandy Ridge...on is at the top of Toms Creek and is a large one; the other one is on the Lloyd Evans farm called the Calvin Edwards Cem. and wait a minute there is another---out in McClellan town. Some people call this the McClellan cem but is really the Bob Edwards cemetery. I guess the Edwards line is important here. John D. Edwards--Top Toms Creek--Edwards Cemetery--first in Wise Co. John Friel Edwards --Toms Creek Cem. son of John D. The Robert (Bob) is a brother to John Friel, the Calvin is a son. Jeremiah and Agatha Gibson Couch is said to be buried in yet another Sandy Ridge Cem--just off Fairview Road--called the McCoy-Hayes Cem. This is the Gibson that Phyllis and I would love to pinpoint parentage to...We only know she was born in TN.
