Hello Wise County My GIBSON line has been a job. Still trying to figure it all out. I was a Gibson before marriage and my father Cecil F. Gibason, Jr., being an only child hasn't any information on the family. So I have been working in the dark but will get there one way or the other. Here is what I have so far and if anyone can add to it I would appreciate it. I know they were in Russell County, Lee, Wise and with county changes Dickenson. Walter V. Gibson and Nellie Amburgey are buried at Hearld, Virginia in the Edwards cemetery along with Alfred and Martha (Mattie) Horn Gibson. I know but haven't entered as yet that Alfred P. Gibson's father was George P. Gibson married to Sarah Robinett Gibson. One of their daughters Luemma Gibson married William Alexander Edwards on November 17, 1865, at the home of her parents Goerge P. and Sarah Robinett Gibson.
