Nancy, The main item I am looking for would be a marriage license for Mary Jane Hicks to either a Harvey or an Austin, late 1890's, early 1900's. I would also be interested in a murder that occured in Russell Co., VA around 1906/07 involving a Frank Harvey and Clarence Cooper. Also, there should be court records on the adoption of my grandfather's three half-sisters, Julie Lillian Sturgill, Margaret Sturgill and Frances Sturgill, all children of Mary Jane Hicks and King Solomon Sturgill, Sr. This should have around 1922/23.
