Hi Diana, I saw your post on the Wise Co. Mailing List. I don't have anything on the Boggs name, but i'm hoping you can help me with some Lawson info. My ggg Grandfather Emanuel Lawson (no dates) md. Mary Polly Frazier (no dates), they had at least one son my gg Grandfather John Lawson 1-13-1830 - 7-12-1901 md. 1st Lucinda Minor (no dates), they had at least two children Elizabeth and Perry Lawson. John md. 2nd Frankie Singleton 1839 - 9-13-1917, dau of Zachariah G. Trent 1801 Grayson Co. Va. - 1871 Hamblen Co. Tn. and Mirah or Myra Singleton (no dates), Zachariah and Myra never married as far as I know. John and Frankie had eleven children, and I decend from their oldest son Madison. Emanuel and Myra Singleton are listed as living together and with more children, on the Hancock Co. Tn. census for 1850,60 and 70. I am tring to find where Emanuel came from before he was in Hancock Co., who his parents were and if the children living with him and Myra are theirs. The above all occured in Hancock Co., but Wise Co. is only a rocks throw away, so I'm hoping you will have some info with the Lawson info you have that will help me. thanks in advance, Jack Lawson
