    1. Re: [VAWISE-L] Dickenson County Newspaper 1890-1900
    2. Joanne Hafeli
    3. I have a wonderful book published in the eighties, I think, by Hettie Sutherland. It is called "Pioneer Recollections". Evidently , in the early part of the century, Her husband conducted interviews with the old-timers and published them in a local paper. It has wonderful interviews with swome reaching back to the Revolutionary War. If you have a chance, get it. It gave me wonderful insight on this area and some clues for more digging. My Dickenson County ancestors were Reedy, McFall(s), Honeycut, Franks. Happy hunting.
