JAMES Q STRANGE of Grayson Co, s/o William and Martha Strange. He was the first jailer at Wise for a few years. Ch: Emmett White Strange. His children were: Lillie Jane "Sis" White Strange, m. Thomas Hale, lived at Wise. Also, Alice Strange, m. Emmett Jones; lived at Kisgsport, TN.
