My grandfather Robert Lee Strange (4/17/1878-9/03/1962 Letcher County) is the son of Firal Strange and Sarah Perry. Rhonda Robertson has been sooooooo wonderful to also help me out with these genealogical findings. (Thank you Rhonda!) And now I have more questions (each answer seems to raise many more questions!): I have so far: Firal Strange married Sarah Perry in Wise County, 11/10/1887. Firal Strange was the son of William Ferrell Strange and Martha Jane Hash. Martha Jane Hash was the _daughter_ of Riley Hash. William Ferrell Strange was also called Old Bill[ey] Strange. Your note indicates that Martha Jane Hash was the _sister_ of Riley Hash. Do you know where I could get a copy of your source? I'm so confused! Thank you for being patient and for all of your help.
