Hi Nancy, Thanks for the reply but Iam not the one looking for the Strange family. I responded to a request from someone who was looking someone by the surname of Strange. I found one in my Knott county Ky census book and posted it to her. The person I am trying to find is Kate Gibson born in Va, 1822. I don't know what county ?? She had a son John Ramy born 1842 in Va, a son William Gibson, born 1848-9 Va. Samuel Gibson born 1852-3 Va, Ham or Hamilton Gibson born ? in Va She and her sons came to Ky sometime in the 1860's . After comeing to Ky she had a daughter Elvira born 1860-5. Now what is puzzeling me is all the way up to the 1900 knott county census Kate and her family all except John Ramy-Ramey, changed their last name from Gibson to Collins. Kate and some of her children are burried in Knott county on Ball creek, in the Ramey cemetary under the name of Collins. Some puzzle isen't it!!!. If you have any info on any of these people please let me know. Thanks again for responding to me.
