Dianne: Henry Wood Smith was born 16 June 1816 in Scott VA and died 22 Dec. 1899 in Wise VA. He married Lucinda BEVINS on 20 July 1838 in Scott County. (Lucinda was the illegitimate daughter of Abraham Compton and Polly Bevins). They had ten children who reached adulthood and at least one that died in infancy.
