Rhonda, Are you researching this family?John and Martha are my gggg grandparents.I have a lot on this family at my website but am having trouble getting past them in my research. I've seen on previous census records that John gives his place of birth as Frederick Co Va. I posted the marriages on the Wise Co site and as far as I know,as Vicki wrote, Martha's name was Mclaughlin or McGlaughlin and Susanah was the daughter of Thomas Hale. The Hale family were neighbors and many of them married Wright's. I'm researching both families because I'm directly related to both. Parris was my ggg grandfather but I haven't found what Mary's last name was yet.
