David...there was an old Cress store with a big glass front on rte. 23..about 400 ft. from the Bell Ave intersection in town limits of Appalachia....I know this because I was run over by a man on a bicycle in 1933 and knocked unconcious in front of the store..The store may still be standing today..was this Cress in your line?
