    3. Thanks for informing me. I do remember some Collins' {Carl } whom I never got to meet, had some old pictures and he wanted me to come look at them and see if I knew anyone. I'm always searching for pictures of mom and dad {Gus and Mary Gollaway McFarland} since I have only one. By the way, I think Sallie {Sally} was the name of Caleb Roberts' wife. If memory serves me right. paul wrote: > --WebTV-Mail-25365-166 > Content-Type: Text/Plain; Charset=US-ASCII > Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7Bit > > Vadna..my last name is Collins..We lived in "Stringtown" about 4 blocks > from where they built the High School.. > I have an older brother, Ernest, who was more well-known than me, as I > was 14 when I moved away.. > Paul > > --WebTV-Mail-25365-166 > Content-Disposition: Inline > Content-Type: Message/RFC822 > Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7Bit > > Received: from smtpin-102-4.bryant.webtv.net (209.240.198.55) by > storefull-148.iap.bryant.webtv.net with WTV-SMTP; Fri, 18 May 2001 > 10:13:11 -0700 (PDT) > Received: by smtpin-102-4.bryant.webtv.net (WebTV_Postfix+sws) id 2C429134; > Fri, 18 May 2001 10:13:11 -0700 (PDT) > Delivered-To: pogoat2@webtv.net > Received: from lists2.rootsweb.com (lists2.rootsweb.com [63.92.80.32]) by > smtpin-102-4.bryant.webtv.net (WebTV_Postfix+sws) with ESMTP id > A392814D; Fri, 18 May 2001 10:13:10 -0700 (PDT) > Received: (from slist@localhost) by lists2.rootsweb.com (8.10.1/8.10.1) id > f4IHB5v10573; Fri, 18 May 2001 10:11:05 -0700 > Resent-Date: Fri, 18 May 2001 10:11:05 -0700 > X-Original-Sender: mgbernard@naxs.net Fri May 18 10:11:05 2001 > Message-ID: <3B055812.3CB8DCA0@naxs.net> > Date: Fri, 18 May 2001 13:12:50 -0400 > From: Vadna Bush <mgbernard@naxs.net> > X-Mailer: Mozilla 4.72 [en] (Win98; I) > X-Accept-Language: en > MIME-Version: 1.0 > Old-To: VAWISE-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: Re: [VAWISE] Kelly View Cemetery > References: <18223-3B052F77-205@storefull-142.iap.bryant.webtv.net> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii > Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit > Resent-Message-ID: <yITEuC.A._kC.peVB7@lists2.rootsweb.com> > To: VAWISE-L@rootsweb.com > Resent-From: VAWISE-L@rootsweb.com > Reply-To: VAWISE-L@rootsweb.com > X-Mailing-List: <VAWISE-L@rootsweb.com> archive/latest/249 > X-Loop: VAWISE-L@rootsweb.com > Precedence: list > Resent-Sender: VAWISE-L-request@rootsweb.com > > Yes, I knew Abe and Annie and Gloris > I can't figure your name out , are you a Dockery? > Vadna > > paul wrote: > > > Vadna...guess you knew the Abe Dockery family..he preached my mothers > > funeral.. > > Paul > > --WebTV-Mail-25365-166--

    3. Caleb. Can't remember his wife's name at this time but they took care of a little boy{may have been their grandson} who had some sort of birth defect. The reason I know this, is because my mom gave Donald {the little boy} his first haircut when we still lived at Kellyview. A few yrs later I heard the little boy died. 3. Are you familiar with the new tipple that runs across the highway above Appalachia High School? If so just before reaching it,{ I think it can be seen} there is a turn off on the right side of the highway. Dirt road that leads to the cemetery. Not far at all. It crosses the tracks. I was born about 100 yards from the cemetery. That is where a lot of my people are buried, including my mom. It is possible, I might remember your family..
