Hello All: Sorry for the long delay between updates but life is pretty hectic around here as I prepare to leave the Naval Service after nearly 21 years. My retirement ceremony is next Thursday, so I've been very occupied making sure everything is in order for my family. I've been busy formatting the info sent to me by lots of folks. I have one more major project to undertake and have set it aside until my retirement ceremony has passed. This update includes new formatting of marriage files for the Meadows surname in VA, the Recollections of Carl R. Sage, the addition of more diary entries of Roger Hampson, the mining inspector of the late 1880s, updated search engine results, and a new feature I hope everyone likes, a photo scenery page of SWVA/NETN/SEKY. Well, hope everyone enjoys the new material. Let me know what you think! As always, the site can use more material. Sincerely, Wayne Duncan Hills and Hollers Webmaster http://hillsandhollers.net List Admin for: SWVA-NETN-SEKY-CHAT-L BIBLE-RECORDS-L MIGRATION-PATTERNS-L STATE-HISTORICAL-MARKERS-L

I had posted this week to VAWISE and received a message back. At the bottom of the post was a simple message saying "Take a look at the attachment." Thank goodness I had read the post about opening attachments. I quickly updated my Norton antivirus saved the attachment to disc, but my antivirus stopped and told me that it had the W32.Badtrans.13312 @mm.virus. The attachment was titled "hamster.zip.scr." It was addressed from KDingus. If there is a KDingus she should run a virus scan on her computer. Please check all attachments with your virus scan. Thanks to the discussion earlier, I saved myself some grief. Thanks list. Teresa
