I sure could use some look ups on the SOUTH and THOMPSONS! Col. George (b.1607 in Hertfordshire, England) THOMPSON (and his 4 brothers: Maurice "Morris", Robert, Wm, & Paul THOMPSON) lived at one time or an other in MD, Northumberland Co., VA and the upper VA counties of Westmoreland, Lancaster, and etc;. Col. George Thompson in his 1690 will he mentions his SOUTH grandchildren. In 1660 I find George SOUTH in Westmoreland I don't know if I desc. from him or one of his children. I need all the SOUTH data I can get as well as THOMPSONS, LAMBERTS, and STAPLETONS who married into the SOUTHS! Any help would be appreciated.
