Dear Cyndi, I think you've just found a "cousin"! Your families are my families. Some of my dates are slightly different, but I'm pretty sure we are talking about the same people. I also have a 3-vol. set of Cavaliers and Pioneers, abstracts of VA Land Patents and Grants. Wm. Medcalfe is listed in several pages of vol. 1 which covers 1623-66.
