Description of Holdings (from the web page below): This is a small research library maintaining holdings of value to the Northern Neck of Virginia Historical Society. Holdings were initially designed to be of support to individuals in preparation of the Society's journal articles. The library is open to the public, is non-circulating, and has increased emphasis in purchases on historical records of the Northern Neck of interest to genealogists (birth, marriage, death, land grants, wills, etc.). We collect materials related to all Northern Neck counties (Lancaster, Northumberland, Richmond, and Westmoreland counties).
