Looking for information on my great great grandfather Charles Thomas Mozingo born around 1812 and was married to Rebecca Hoilman of Botetourt County sometime in the 1830's. Her family was from Botetourt County and parents were Simon Hoilman and Mary Morrison. In the 1860 census at age 48 Charles and his family is living in Allegheny County but disappears from records after 1860 (possibly died in the civil war?) and Rebecca married to William Mozingo who I suspect is Charles' brother. Charles is said to have come from the East (i.e. Richmond County) but have not been able to connect him to a family from there. They had 9 children including Simon, Wesley, William H. (my grandfather), Charles W., Thomas J. George W., Mary A., Rachel E. and Elizabeth some of which I have dates of birth for. There are Mozingo's listed for Culpeper, Westmoreland, Allegheny, Rockbridge and Richmond counties. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.
