Scott listed as a private (on pg. 361) for Captain John Brown's Company of Infantry in the Service July 15 - August 15, 1813 and again as a Private in Captain William Middleton's Company in Service July 15-26, Aug.3-5, Oct.30-Nov 17,1813; July 18-Sept.25, 1814. This would have course been during The War of 1812. A C.H. Scott, pvt., present thru 10/64 muster (pg. 429) Company A, 15th Virginia Infantry Regiment. (Charles Henry?) Possibly... Scott, Talbot, pvt., enl. 6/61; dischg'd on disability, chronic diarrhoea. (on pg. 419) Company K, 40th Virginia Infantry Regiment - The "Potomac Rifles" (Talbrid misspelled?)
