    3. Linda, sorry it has taken so long for me to respond. My off e-mail life got hectic on me and I'm still trying to catch up with things. >From Westmoreland County Virginia history a James T. Scott listed as a private (on pg. 361) for Captain John Brown's Company of Infantry in the Service July 15 - August 15, 1813 and again as a Private in Captain William Middleton's Company in Service July 15-26, Aug.3-5, Oct.30-Nov 17,1813; July 18-Sept.25, 1814. This would have course been during The War of 1812. A C.H. Scott, pvt., present thru 10/64 muster (pg. 429) Company A, 15th Virginia Infantry Regiment. (Charles Henry?) Possibly... Scott, Talbot, pvt., enl. 6/61; dischg'd on disability, chronic diarrhoea. (on pg. 419) Company K, 40th Virginia Infantry Regiment - The "Potomac Rifles" (Talbrid misspelled?) These are the only names that come close but there are other Scott surnames listed. No women listed however in index. Hope this helps. Again, sorry for the delay in checking this for you. Dawn
