Just a thought. > The document that I have is a microfilm photo of the document that was writen by the Clerk. I am assuming also that all signatures were written by the clerk. Maybe the clerk, at that time, made a mistake. But, the "signature" that I have is one of the most legible signatures that I have seen. But then, I have never seen her name as Mary Jane either. My wife says that she used to know a woman whose first name was Mark. I was just curious as to whether anybody else had seen Jane ASHTON with 'Mark' as her first name. Donald KING
