There is a very elusive gentleman in my past that has haunted me for the past 40 years as to whom his parents were, where he came from and why he settled om Berkeley Co. He was born ca. 1720-30, married a Joana________ and acquired land in Berkeley Co. before the 1800's. He died in Berkeley Co. in 1807 after raising a fairly large family which then scattered around Kentucky and points west. If you have come across this gentleman, I would appreciate any hints.
