Am just starting to have an interest in the Chilton family due to the mention recently of a possible Sanford/Ransdell/Yates connection. Not sure if it would be my line I am looking for (James Yates/Sarah Sanford Yates m in Orange Co. VA in 1798), do these names sound familiar?

Before John CRABBE she married Daniel HUTT abt 1669; their son, Gerrard HUTT b. in Westmoreland d. 1739 also in Westmoreland was my ancestor. He married an Anne (JACKSON) but I have no further information on her nor do I have anything at all on Daniel's parents. With regard to the GERRARDs, I have some information on them back to Sir Peter who died in 1380. However, I do have a lot of holes which need to be filled in. As to Temperance's parents, I have Justinian SNOW b. abt 1578 in Staffordshire, England and Judith _____. His parents were Marmaduke SNOW and Judith HILL; no further information either of them.
