    3. Greetings all, Looking for information regarding Andrew Reed (b. 1637 Scotland, d. 1697 Westmoreland Co., VA), married to Elizabeth Coleman. They had 4 known children, Coleman, Andrew, Temperance, Elizabeth. The information below has been documented, and I've also included a direct line to myself. Wondering if anyone has any idea exactly where in Westmoreland Co. this property might be located, and any other information. It would be fantastic if anyone had a connection. "Cavaliers and Pioneers" by Nell Nugent Page 563 Patent Book #5, pages 527 and 645 Andrew Reed granted a Patent of 400 acres, Westmoreland Co., Va. Between the Rappahannock and Potomac River near branches of Nomeny River; June 1666; beginning at corner tree of land of Randolph Kirke N.W. 56 per to land of Col. Payton, dec'd, then S.W. and C. For transportation of 8 persons: William James, James Clark, Andrew Strong, Edward Davis, Mary Williams, Franics Toms, Hardrap Wilson, Jon Tomlin. Andrew Reed, 400 acres, Westmoreland Co., near head of Nomany River, on E side of the West most Herring Creek, June 5, 1666. Beginning on E side of the Maine br of sd creek extending W.S.W. and C to white oak deviding this land of Ann Hutt; S and C to Red Oak nere sd Maine br., which divides this land and land of Mr. Richard Sterman and finally down same N.E. which divides this and tract surveyed for Thos Dyas.     2. Hi Patijie I think it was Rusts we talked about before. Someone sent me a bunch of stuff on the Crabb family because it mentioned some of my Rusts. My Hannah Rust married Thomas Boggess and I think we maybe talked about that. Have you ever seen the name FLIPPO (or, possibly, Philippo) in Westmo? Arlene Crabb Boulette - Osman on pg. 65 "Crabs Creek was a former name for Gardner Creek occasionally used in deeds in the 18th and early 19th centuries. The home of Osmun Crab is shown on a plat made in 1756. It was located on one of the western branches of the creek, then still known by an even older name, Hurds Creek" and on pg. 107 "In 1711, Henry Ashton and his wife Elizabeth Hardidge Ashton, sole heir of William Hardidge, deceased, made a deed to Gerald Hutt, Burditt Ashton, Charles Ashton and Osman Crabb for them to hold for the heirs of Henry and Elizabeth the two tracts of land which Elizabeth, as sole heir of her father William Hardidge had inherited from him. And from pgs. 684 & 687 "The Poll List For The Election of Burgesses For Westmoreland, 1755...A Poll taken for Colo.Augustine Washington att an Election of Burgess in Westmoreland County December the 8th Day Annoque Domini 1755 as followeth Viz" "Ozman Crabb sworn" under "Freeholders Names" and "Osman Crabb sworn" also "John Crabb" and "John Crabb" under "Voter's Names" pg. 683&684. Then on pg. 690 "Westmoreland Legislative Petition of 13 May, 1784 In Favor of Re-Establishing Kinsale As A Town And A Warehouse "Samuel Crabb" and "William Md. Crabb" No Lettice, Daniel or Thomas Crabb. Hope this is of some assistance. Bill - Sorry, no Isham. James Watson - pg. 463 & 464 "First Baptist Church of Colonial Beach, 1896 "Over the years some members have served as both deacons and trustees." "James Watson" also "Court Records show that on January 10, 1920 Lorenzo T. Stuart and his wife Lena M. Stuart et als. sold First Baptist trustees Peyton Davis, James Watson and Irving Waters a parcel of land described as lot 5, Block 90, a 50 X 150 lot in Colonial Beach." on page 602 "In the summer of 1924, James E. Glasscock's Troup of Calvary - in service from Aug. 16 - Sept. 25, 1814" from "The War of 1812" and "Thomas S. Muse Private" from Captain Richard Omohundro's Company - in the Service from July 15-16, 1813, pg. 367 same section. Only Richard and Thomas Muse listings. Hope it is of help.

Thanks for your patience and glad to help any out that I can. Yes, you can purchase the book last I knew. I bought it last year. Contact Westmoreland County Board of Supervisors Montross VA 22520. I can't find the name of the woman who I dealt with to buy the book but she was with a county office. The book cost $43 and shipping and handling was included then. Dawn

Married Frances (nln) of Richmond Cty. Their children, Charles Henry, William A., Caroline, Matilda Ann, Talbrid, Montague, Frances and Sally were alSO born in Westmoreland Cty. Jones, b. 8/1864 in Virginia Married to Ella (may be Rollins) b 5/1875 in Virginia Lived in King George County and had the following children: William Randolph b. 1/7/1890 Harry b.3/1892 Nelson b. 3/14/1896 Robert J. b. 10/20/1899 Flora b. 4/15/1902 (later married a Mullen and lived in King Geo C. Strother b 1905 Benjamin died sometime between 1905 and 1910 and Ella married a Alexander Dickerson, b. 1884 in VA, and had two more children, Alex Dickerson b. 10-14-1910 Dunaway Dickerson b. ?
