I descend from Nicholas Fleenor and Anna Maria Catharina who settled in the Holston River Valley c1774. Nicholas' son Abraham and other Fleenor relatives migrated to the Northwest Territory in 1810 and settled what was later named Washington Co. IN. We're having a reunion June 21st-23rd, 2002 in Delaney Park in Washington Co. IN. for Fleenors, Carters, Dennys, Walkers, Hattabaughs, Nicholsons, and many other pioneer families who originated from Virginia and ended up in southern Indiana. I also host a family research website if anyone is interested in joining our collaborative effort to research our family's history.
