Then I received two E-Mails from Dean and Joanne and BINGO it seemed to all fall into place. These two wonderful people were telling me that ELIZABETH was married to HENRY ROE was that same ELIZABETH MANNIN that has married THOMAS JEFFERSON MUSICK. Joanne told me that she had HENRY ROE'S death certificate and that he was born in Scott Co., VA. Well off I went to Scott Co., VA. After a week of researching those counties around Scott Co., Va I found this and thought that I would share in case someone else was working on same families and we could share information. All researchers start by regression of age, right. Well with HENRY ROE he had so many ages that it was hard to pin down just one. Take a look. 1870 MORGAN CO., KY---HENRY ROE AGE 33. 1880 MORGAN CO., KY---HENRY ROE AGE 40. 1900 MORGAN CO., KY---HENRY ROE AGE 57. 1910 MORGAN CO., KY---HENRY ROE AGE 74. I was informed that HENRY ROE was born May 3, 1834 in Scott Co., VA and that he died January 1, 1919, I have sent for this death certificate. I asked for a Morgan County look-up for HENRY ROE for 1860 thinking that he would be about 22/23 year old. A Patty did a look-up for me and said that HENRY ROE age 22 was living in the household of a SAMUEL & LUCRETIA HAVENS and that their was below him a LUCINDA ROBINSON age 21 and that both were from VA. Now it was getting very interesting because I had seen Robinson's in the same area that I had found a HENRY ROE that could be mine, so back to VA I went.....and this is what I found.
