I need help to locate John DUFF, son of William & Agnes Thatcher DUFF, who married Sarah Hanes/Haynes in Wash.Co.VA in 1806. Believe they purchased land from his father after their marriage, but unable to determine which JOHN DUFF owned which land. By ca. 1825 they had moved to Monroe Co. TN (Hiwassee Dst.) along with other relatives. Does anyone have a record of Land Deeds in the 1806 time period that could look up any John & Sarah (Haynes) DUFF transactions? Thanks.
