Roe family, entry 447 in the 1880 census for Washington Co., Va. My grandmother, Mattie Widener, her siblings and mother (Jane Hand Widener), were taken in by the Roe family after the death of her father in about 1878. Would you know the maiden name of Edward Roe's spouse? Perhaps she was a Widener and that there was some relationship with my grandmother's deceased father or with his spouse. Thanks, Alan
