My wife and I just returned from a visit to that part of the country and I went to the Wright United Methodist Cemetery very near Damacus where I found several Ramsey graves. I have also seen deeds and land grants for Ramseys in that area. There is a Ramsey Creek on the map that flows into the Laurel branch of the south fork of the Holston River. Don't know if any of this helps but thought that I would pass it along. Bob
