I am just writing to share my frustrations with you all. I am working on trying to get my mom in the DAR, I am in it through my dad's line. Anyways, I sent off for my 2nd great grandmother's death certificate and we got a letter today saying that we could not get it due to it needing 5 more years for it to be public record. After 50 years death certificates are public record until then only sisters, brothers, moms, dads, and children can get them. This is in Virginia, she died in Washington County, does anyone have any experience with this. Her daughter, my great grandmother died in 1995, None of the next of kin are living. This is soooo frustrating!!!!!! Joy Stone _________________________________________________________________ Is your PC infected?
