I really got some clues to check out now and surnames to watch out for also. I had been told years back that Harmon LATTURE ( all spellings) was the son of Hermannus "Herman" LaTOUR b.abt.1770 France? and died Abt.1774 in Mount Joy, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He was married twice also. Going by hear say the org. spelling of this name was LaTOUR. Just thought I would write that other info above in case one day someone else is looking and will see it and it will help them with clues to. That LATOORE spelling..that's a new one I haven't seen! I think I'll keep looking around in Pa. and try to work my way forward to Va. You sure gave me info to keep me busy for a long time and things to look for. Thank you for the website links.
