He was born around 1820-21 in VA. He married Mary McNew and raised a family around the Saltville/Plasterco area of Washington Co., VA. His son Walter Johnson married Betsy Eastridge. His grandson Marion Johnson married Susie Nutter and his grgrandaughter Norma Jean Johnson married Robert Paul Sturgill. It is believed that Benjamin died between 1858-1867 but unknown where he is buried. Any information would be helpful and greatly appreciated. Thanks.
