On page 843..... When you turn to that page not much is mention about him except that he lived in Washington County, during these dates 1777-1784. Now, that dosen't mean that he wasn't there early or even later than those dates mentioned on page 843. But an interesting fact, John Bowles is the only Bowles mention in this book. So, there probably weren't to many Bowles in Washington County, VA at that time. Now for the Suranme "Carson" there were several listed in the book.
