Ruth, do you know if Thomas had a brother named Michael? My g-g-g-g-g grandmother, Margaret MORLEY, was married first to a David JONES in either Prince George or Anne Arundel county, MD. David died about 1721 leaving two sons, Thomas born abt. 1720 & Michael birth unknown. The reason I am suspicious is that William MARKLAND, Margaret's oldest son by her second marriage to Mathew MARKLAND, ended up in Washington County, VA where he died abt. December 1811. Granted not much to go on but that is what makes this "hobby" so fun. I have the films at the local FHC of Washington County, WBs 1-6 and I will check out WB 1 for the JONES the next time I am over.
