He had 5 sons by his first wife, name unkown. They are Thomas, William, John, Richard and James. Two daughters by Esther. Elizabeth and Margaret. Thomas was born in Ireland in 1733, came to America in 1750. When he moved to Washington County, Va. around 1772 or earlier he became of member of the Presbyterian Church, pastored by Rev. Charles Cummings at Sinking Spring in the Grace (or Glade?) Spring neighborhood. He died in 1779 or 1780. Does anyone know where he is buried? Esther remarried in 1786 to Elias Woolman in Washington Co. Any info on her? On some Washington Co. maps there is Rafferty Road, Rafferty Cove and Rafferty Know. Any help would be appreciated.
