The head waters of Mill Creek are just the left of 2800 elevation in the S.W. corner just below the “Y” in the roads. Thomas and Esther seem to be the only RAFFERTY’s referenced in the early records of WC. St. Clair Bottom Church in Smyth County is about 4 miles N.E. from the above area of Mill Creek.
