[Source: "The Marriages of Washington Co., VA, 1781-1853" (1993), by D.E. Brown, page 65]. On page 94 of Brown's marriage book is the following: "David JESSEE. Baptist. Appears in the marriage registers 1819-1851 and this is probably two different people. There was a David JESSEE at Nickelsville Baptist Church in present Scott County, Virginia in 1808. Ref: Addington, p. 258." Scott County was created from Lee, Russell & Washington Counties in 1814. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
