According to the family history we've been given and researched, our Alexander was married to an Ann DOUGLASS or perhaps MURRAY, and had the two children, Charles Lewis and Elizabeth. Alexander died sometime after 1806 and before 1811, when Ann married James MEADOWS. They then moved to Menard Co Illinois, where many of the Montgomery descendants of Charles Lewis still reside. Does anyone have any additional info on Charles's father Alexander's date of death, Alexander's parents, or when the family originally settled in the US?
