    2. I found this while perusing the Papers of the Library of Congress and thought that it would be helpful to someone, somewhere. While it does not pertain to either of these lists directly, it is history and maybe someone may find a missing link. The list on the microfilm is a memorial to Congress from Obediah ROBINS & Comp. asking for reimbursement and consists of account book pages listing costs to aid returned prisoners of the Indians during the Revolutionary War. I am going to send out the abstract only and refrain from listing the costs of blankets, etc. These accounts cover the years 1778-1782. They are from M247-51 frames 2685-2691. Michael HARBART Taken by the Mingos & Given to the Windotte [sic] from Pennsylvania and on the Frontier in the Year 1777 James GRAY Taken by the Windotte at Kentucky 1778 Adam SHOEMAKER Taken by the Windotte Backwoods Pennsylvania 1778 John TROY Taken by the Windotte Backwoods Pennsylvania 1778 John JACKSON Taken by the Windotte Backwoods Pennsylvania 1778 Died at Detroit in October 1782 Barney DARING Soldier Taken by the Windotte at Fort Lawrence. Belonging to the Virginia Troops. Drowned in going to Detroit in August 1784 Moses McKOANE Aiding and assisting to make his Escape from the Windottes. N.B. The above M. McKOANES Residence in Bedford County Virginia, he was Imployed [sic] by Colonel Callaway with Several Others to Guard the Ammunition to Kentucky and was Taken at that place by the Windotte two days After his Arrival. Taken in March 1779 and his Escape the 7th day of June 1780. Anne McEVERS Taken by the Windotte Backwoods Pennsylvania 1780. N.B. Her husband Killed the Same Time She was Taken Prisoner John READING Bought of from the Delawares. Taken at Kentucky 1780 John REYNOLDS Bought of from the Mingoes. Taken on the Ohio from Pennsylvania 1780. N.B. The above John REYNOLDS was Son to Captain REYNOLDS who was Killed the Same time he was Taken. He had been a Captain in the Continental Service. Isaac RIDDELL Taken by the Windotte at Kentucky 1780 Thomas DeLOW Taken by the Windotte Backwoods Pennsylvania 1780 Elizabeth FOLKS Taken by the Windotte Backwoods Pennsylvania 1780 Wm. MALOTT & Family Taken by the Delaware on the Ohio from Pennsylvania 1780. N.B. The above four or five Small Children Henry FRANKS Taken on the Ohio by the Windotte with Colonel LAWHARLY 1781. N.B.
