Searching for information on Halbert MC CLURE, born in unknown location in Va. Date unknown. Died 1829 in Blount County, Tennessee. Wife was Elizabeth unknown. She survived him. They had nine children. One of them, Samuel, is my Great Great Grandfather. I have well documented information from Halbert on down. My problem is tying Halbert MC CLURE to any of the several well documented MC CLURE families in Virginia. What I have found so far is very confusing.
