To Pulaski co.,Ky via Madison Co., Ky District of VA. Then back to Wythe Co., VA. I will send some Gastineau data. Loyd doesn't have anymore books to sell. They were 1st; Gastineaus in the Nanticoke 100 area of MD this part became Deleware when the Mason Dixon line was surveyed; 1768? How and when they got to Washington Co., VA. We don't know. They then went to Madison Co., was Lincoln 1st; they were in part that became Madsion, then went over in Pulaski Co., Ky. REF; pg 149 Gastineau Family Gene. Thomas Jefferson Gastineau, (line of descent (William(6),Job(5),Job(4), George(3), Matharin(2), Pierre(1). was born 8 Jan, 1851 in Pulaski Co., Ky and m. 17 Oct, 1872 in Pulaski Co., Ky Mahala Catherine McHargue, b. 5 Aug, 1858 in Laurel Co., Ky. Thomas died 22 Sept, 1935 in Pulaski Co., Ky, buried in Salem Cem, PCK,Ky; Mahala d. 17 Nov, 1893 buried, same. ISSUE; William H. b. 13 Sept, 1873 d. 25 May, 1897; Lillian b. 27 Feb, 1876, d. 23 Apr, 1964; Stephen Meniffee b. 9 Jan, 1879, d. 19 Jun, 1965; James Bruce b. 12 Dec, 1882, d. 12 Sept, 1884; Lola b. 5 Sept, 1885, d. 29 Feb, 1916. He also m. 2ed Rebecca Whitis, 4 Apr, 1897, she d. 3 Aug, 1941 buried same. No issue of this marriage..
