I am looking for a Capt Samuel Young. He would have been on a malitia list only for a short time between about 1780 and 1800. There were many Capt Samuel Youngs during the Revolution and Civil war but this Sam was only a private under Col Campbell at the battle of KIng's Mountain Thanks J. Ray Young
