John Caylor and Mary Keaphart are indeed the parents of Rebecca. I have been researching in Augusta Co., VA for some time now looking for conclusive proof that these lines migrated south from there. I know that Thomas Tomlinson was born in Augusta Co. Sep/Oct 1802 to James and Mary Tomlinson. I suspect that I have located their marriage record but no proof yet. There are numerous variations for Caylor and Keaphart in Augusta also. Many have the right given names and disappear from Augusta Co. about the same time as our lines appear in Washington Co.
