CERTIFICATE OF MARRIAGE DATE: March 29, 1883 PLACE: Washington Co., VA NAME GROOM: Andrew S. McCready RACE: White AGE: 32 SINGLE BIRTHPLACE: Smyth Co. VA RESIDENCE: Washington Co. VA PARENTS:James & Susan McCready OCCUPATION: Farmer BRIDE: Eliza Jane Cress RACE: White AGE: 25 SINGLE BIRTHPLACE: Washington Co. VA RESIDENCE: Washington Co. VA PARENTS: Cress - no other names given According to above Eliza's age - she would have been born in 1858. My Eliza Jane Cress was born 19 Feb 1858 in Smyth Co VA(d/o Josiah Cress) and, I thought she married Joseph Bonham in Smyth Co. The person that sent me the notification that they could not find birth of James Bonham wrote that she found births of R.L. (male) b:1885; Mary V b: 1888; Laura b:1890; Carrie b: 1890. These are children of Joseph M. and Eliza Jane Bonham. If anyone can help me straighten this out I would really appreciate it. Thanks Bev in Oregon
