    3. Bonnie, Which NEAL are you researching? I have these: NEAL, John Randolph, child of 3 NEEL, C. C., child of 2 NEEL, John R. 3 NEEL, Obadiah 2 NEEL, Obadiah Sr. 1 NEEL, Obediah, child of 2 NEEL, Sarah (Sally), child of 2 NEEL, Son, child of 2 I would like to know more about Obadiah 2. He married 1-Polly LINDSEY IN 1819 -WCV- They had a son b 1819/1820. Obadiah remarried 2-Polly McCRACKEN and 3-Amanda UNK. I am most interested in the son of Obadiah 2 and Polly 1. Don't know his name or history. He is the only child with a LINDSEY connection, and his poor mother died very young, having only the one child. She was my ggg grand aunt. In my search, I found two Rev. War vets, you may be interested in too: William NEAL/NEEL. Was under James Robertson in Dunmores War 1774 (this unit from Walkers Creek), and looks like a William NEEL 1761-1841, Rev. War vet (probably the same guy), buried in Sifford Cemetery, White Gate, Giles Co. He may connect to the Obadiah's of mine. I would like to know more about him. I found a Rev. War vet James Gilliland 1745-1833, buried in Washington Co. VA. I have other bits of Gilliland information on my data base, but am not researching this line. Let me know if any of this interests you, or if you have any more on my Neals's. (Interesting bit of Neal trivia, John Randolph Neal was one of the lawyers from Nashville working on the Scopes monkey trial in the 1920's. There is a good bit about him on-line, if you do a search on his name).
