Just wanted to let everyone on the Washington Co, VA List know that the Library of the Washington County Historical Society now has Saturday hours. It will be open on the first and third Saturdays from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm beginning this month through the summer months. This is great news for those of us who live within driving distance but can't get there during their weekday hours of 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. The library is now open in its new location at the Old Abingdon Train Station in Abingdon.
