Do you have a copy of other information that indicated Thomas had a daughter Mary about the same age as your Mary? I would love to have a copy. Maybe it might help. I do have a copy of his son John's death certificate naming his father which I am attaching. It doesn't name his mother but does indicate that both Thomas his father and his mother were born in Russel County, VA. I haven't yet located confirmation of that.
