He was born in Damascus, and had lived in California for many years. He was always interested in Washington County, VA genealogy and graciously offered his assistance to many people who posted queries on the Washington County websites. His gentle demeanor and helpful attitude will be greatly missed. He will be buried at Zion Methodist Church Cemetery on Nov 10, 2007.
